Young drivers make mistakes, but five Central Davison High School students followed one law that might have spared their lives Monday morning. Each teen involved in an automobile accident in Lexington, NC was reportedly wearing his seat belt according to Fox 8 News. Though three of the victims in this crash remain hospitalized as of Wednesday morning, the young men are fortunate that their injuries are not life-threatening.

Experienced attorneys at Egerton & Associates often witness automobile accident victims recover from injuries that might have otherwise been fatal had drivers and passengers not been safely buckled up. Regardless of your age or driving-record, I encourage you and your loved-ones to wear safety belts when in an automobile. Seat belts are there to save lives and prevent injury, and they work.
