Several news media outlets report that a train collided with a tractor-trailer this morning, June 7, 2010 in Cleveland, North Carolina.
The train was not derailed; however, the driver of the tractor-trailer remains in Iredell Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The rig caught fire following the crash and one of three people who rushed to help the tractor-trailer driver is also being treated at an area hospital for smoke inhalation.
This train wreck is the latest in a series that have occurred in central North Carolina in recent weeks.
